¹⁷ I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness;^(A)

    the boast of the whole earth seized!
How desolate^(C) Babylon will be
    among the nations!

“Blessed are you who are poor,
    for yours is the kingdom of God.^(A)

¹¹ Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power^(A)
    and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
    for everything in heaven and earth is yours.^(B)
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
